She graduated in 1946 as a Registered Nurse from the School of Nursing at Yorkton Queen Victoria Hospital. Laurena attended school at Whitesand, Peachview, and Saltcoats. Laurena (as she was known to all) was born on Decemto Edward and Bertha Klause in the district of Springside. With heavy hearts the family of Dorothy Laurena Ruth Anderson announces her passing on Augat the Yorkton Hospital. The interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Trevor Connolly, Bill Hubble, Gerry Pinay, Garry Lechman, Curtis Lechman and Derek Trischuk serving as the casket bearers.ĪNDERSON – Dorothy Laurena Ruth (nee Klause). She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary Stetz her beloved husband Henry and an infant child four brothers, John, Nick, Peter, Howard and her sister Anne Blazeiko. Special cousin and friend Rose Verhaag will greatly miss Nellie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be fondly remembered by her three sisters, Mrs. Gramma will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren, Nichole Aichinger, Candice Weingartner, Kristen Weingartner, Garry Lechman, Brenda Lechman, Curtis Lechman, Kim Pinay, Shelly Hubble, Trevor Connolly, Jody Trischuk, Chelsey Aichele and Kristy Aichele and 5 great grandchildren, Austin Aichele, Paige Pinay, Jolene Pinay, Kyle Lechman and Chad Lechman. Nellie leaves to mourn her passing, her two sons, Lloyd of Yorkton and Richard (Marie) of Saskatoon four daughters, Mrs. Nellie enjoyed exchanging her many fond memories of family and farm stories and had a shoe box of pictures to share. After her husband's passing in 1976, Nellie moved to Yorkton. Nellie had a true love for the land and the simple pleasures of looking after the farm, farm animals, love of nature, her flowers, gardening and family.
In 1945 they moved to the Saltcoats district where together they made their home on the farm. The couple resided in Winnipeg for nine years.
On October 4, 1936, Nellie married Henry Aichele in Yorkton. She attended Central School near Willowbrook. Nellie was born Octoand grew up on the family farm in the Fenwood and Willowbrook districts. passed away peacefully in her home in the early hours of Christmas morning, December 25, 2001.
